alistair testing hasn’t gone up - look at the data… and vaccines only offer low efficacy after a single jab, particularly in the case of AZ… really hard for me to understand why you think one month is such a big deal when you can double jab 12m people in that time - it’s common sense…

The problem with your got-to-have-it-now view is that it’s highly likely to lead to a worse outcome in the end…

Something interesting from our call this morning…the delta variant (India) has some concerned stateside, mostly because it has a high transmission rate among those 12-20 years old, most of whom have not been vaccinated.

People keep saying this but death is not the only concern. As I’ve said before, I have pulmonary fibrosis from the little bastard. I’m used to it now so no big deal, but hiking steep trails at higher elevation is no joke. I used to be fine with such things.

Surely a rapidly transmitting virus through the population, especially through young people who aren’t vaxxed, is a huge problem regardless of how little deaths there are. Stamping the virus out is of more importance, enough mistakes have been made already.
