Homegrove the truth of it is that the variant will be everywhere pretty soon… it’s a matter of getting everyone double jabbed before that’s the case.

Hursty and then the most vulnerable who got their vaccines first will need their booster shots and the cycle will go on. If you can’t lift them at the height of summer then you’re almost certainly looking at these restrictions persisting and tightening into the winter

Jules72 most cases here still come from friends and family, and the very few traces of foreign source are traced quickly and everyone quaranteed. That will change because the pressure to open the country for tourists, and especially foreign workers will become too big. I hope we have the vaccinations up by then, now it’s 51 % first jab, 13 % two jabs. Which isn’t anything against the Delta.

Homegrove …yeah I’m OK, she’s feeling a bit rough, has loss of taste/smell which I didn’t.

Common factor with Delta variant seems to be much more familiar cold symptoms, sore throat, congestion etc… after the vaccine at least, presumably potential to be much more serious without.
