Feel ok after my 2nd AZ jab. A bit crappy but nowhere near as bad as the first .

Gotta feel sorry for club/bar owners, but no way getting around the inside/outside dynamic. Hopefully in a month things will be ok . IMO it’s imperative to get those keen on going into confined /densely populated spaces the vaccine. I noticed there were lots of younger people in the queue yesterday which is good.

IndustryStandard the answer is pre event testing although lateral flow tests are pretty useless…. anyway testing technology is developing nicely - hopefully will soon be a lot more straightforward

Looked this morning and can get my second pFizer on 13th July but about 20 miles away

wrongun I get that booked Cartsy and take a look in a few days. You have the option to cancel it and then immediately rebook - it’s a very easy process. I did that and got mine 3 weeks earlier than the original date. When did you get your first?

Homegrove thing about these efficacy data is that they don’t really tell you what your actual chances of getting covid are….they only compare odds of vaccinated people catching it (or going to hospital) vs non vaccinated - they don’t give you the simple probability. As restrictions ease and daily contacts go up, all else the same the probability of getting covid goes up… exposing people who haven’t been double jabbed to a even greater probability of catching it while cases have already been spiking, when you could have delayed a month, makes zero sense and is politics over common sense. Anyway the government here has done the right after their Indian cock up.. and once another month is up, yes we have to live with covid.
