Hearing way too many similar experiences at the moment. Buddy of mine is just headed into pretty much the 3rd straight 10 day quarantine after his little boy kept getting pinged for a close contact at school. His littl’un has now tested positive. Has been at school a grand total of 2 days since half term.

There’s also a bar down here in Brighton that has shut their doors for a few days, as a fair few folks were getting test/trace pings after visiting. Turns out, three members of staff were positive, but were still working. Unclear yet whether they knew they were positive or not…

Think we are all going to get covid over the next few months and it will be a mild one for almost all… suspect once all adults have been given the opportunity to be double vaxxed that the isolation requirement will be dropped .. otherwise we are all going to be in isolation for the remainder of the year!

Also, apparently heard they are generally only giving Pfizer to younger people now…I wonder what that is?

EDIT - Ah its due to the risk of clotting with AZ within younger people. Also I personally think the AZ is a stop gap to be honest.

Fully appreciate Pfizer is pretty radical technology, albeit nothing that new and I will be a mutant, but long term it will be the most effective against multiple strains.

As Boris said today we are bang on track for full reopening, only a further 22,868 new infections and three deaths in the UK today, nothing to worry about at all!
