bosstrabs i actually don’t know anyone in the latter category. everyone i know who is thoughtfully skeptical, including my wife and myself, have chosen to be vaccinated. everyone i know who doesn’t want to be vaccinated is just scientifically illiterate. that could be a function of being canadian though too, as we tend to be a lot more socially conscious than our friends to the south.
as for how to persuade people who are actually thoughtful, but hesitant, i think presenting the efficacy and risk (vaccine vs. covid outcomes) data is the way to go. i may not agree with people in this category who remain un-vaccinated, but at least i can respect a choice that’s been measured.
