Hursty Is the government tweaking the stats now?
I’ve got a couple of mates who say the same thing - they’ve also rabidly criticised the government for opening up to early. The drop in numbers doesn’t suit their narrative, you see.
I haven’t seen a single news outlet say anything about the drop in numbers - I guess that doesn’t sell newspapers. Apart from Mail Online, but that doesn’t count.
