Homegrove As far as I’ve understood the argument people pushing Ivermectin as a cure for Covid-19 say is that it’s not being used because the companies making the vaccines will profit if there’s no easy alternative for the vaccines to get rid of the pandemic. Yet the drug company making Ivermectin says the drug does not work for Covid-19. Surely they also would like to profit?

it’s so funny because these are the same people who have bitched for years about how there’s more money in treating diseases like cancer than there is to cure it, but when presented with preventative instead of reactive options, flip their position 180 degrees and choose to avoid preventative measures in the vaccine. the mental gymnastics they go through to make the wrong decisions are incredible.

Bloke who lives next to my parents refused the jab. Got Covid last week and decided he was fine. Proceeded to do a 10 mile run around his garden.

So they’ve just ditched the plan for covid passports for nightclubs and big events…. We are already at 8k people in hospital in early September and heading into winter vs previous 20k and 40k peaks… if there are restrictions this winter we will look back at this and despair… right wing politics winning again

There are currently no restrictions on events. I pro proof of vaccination for pretty much anything and everything. If there is another lockdown or further restrictions moving through the winter, the blame will lie squarely with these anti-vaxx cunts

Something is not right now is it these figures sky rocketing, less needing a ventilator but still people needing longer periods in hospital no doubt, these other treatments need to be approved asap.

ATH your burying your head in the sand if you think the vaccine is the be all to end all. I’ll be interested to see what happens with Merck and Pfizer going forward these treatments could actually work better against new variants and stop serious illness.

and here’s the important part, in case you’re as illiterate as you seem:

No scientific basis for a potential therapeutic effect against COVID-19 from pre-clinical studies
No meaningful evidence for clinical activity or clinical efficacy in patients with COVID-19 disease, and;
A concerning lack of safety data in the majority of studies.
