He was on absolute fire production wise for a few years prior to his Nubreed

He was a resident DJ at a night called Empathy that I used to go to, run by his pal Stuart Wilkinson. Both top lads! Stu got some really big names into that little club! Wish them all the most success and delighted to see Jim’s name reappear, on Quattro of all things!

Yeah remember Empathy, never got to a night sadly

loved the first, looking forward to second

Loved that.

And the 2nd transitions i think.

Was smoking a lot of herb at that time and they were perfect for getting lost in

SM001 I know, my hands are shaking here.

Along_the_Wire He can’t for the same reason that they can’t make a new Northern Exposure, nobody is making music that good anymore. Glad to see him doing a thought out studio mix instead of all the ‘live in’ stuff, i never got on with them.

Amps I think the quality of music is out there. Just nobody has presented it the way Sasha & Digweed did with the first Northern Exposure.

SM001 Agreed that there is some good stuff out there at the mo, but there is little you could say is on par with Raincry, Liquid Cool, Dammerung, Little Bullet etc.

Amps yeah the there’s so much going on in them tracks plus the way they are programmed in the mix is unreal, was only listening to the first northern exposure the other night when I was walking and was thinking how there’s no other mixes that even sound similar

Amps I don’t mean something even as good, just a proper studio mix and not some half-arsed Bedrock Records’ showcase.

Presale up now in Bandcamp. 14 £ for those of us who are happy with a digital download, and don’t require CDs or vinyl (signed or not).

Should also be on Spotify etc on March 5th.
