Kells77 Vodka martinis, absolutely filthy with brine or a gin and tonic, heavy on the lime. Those are my go to drinks. Unless it’s a for real Mexican joint - then it’s a 3 ingredient Margarita or a Michelada.

bosstrabs I like the way everyone says ‘go to’ nowadays. ‘Go to’ drinks. Actually they’re only go-to in a British pub, where you have to go to the bar to get served. They are often not go-to anywhere else, they are brought to you at your table.

jonattonyeah bosstrabs Oh yeah, fucking hell. Mulled wine: the shittest thing about Christmas. Hideous stuff. Not a bad remedy if you have a few bottles turning. I feel the same way about sangria. Not ideal, but better than wasting good wine. Both are versatile so it doesn’t really matter what you have or how you mix it.
