RichM Yeah, definitely the case a few years back. Came a cropper on a decent IPA called Dogfish Head 90. 9% ABV, which will leave a dent after a 12 hour flight from London to LAX. Nothing on the menu / tap to suggest it was a feisty fucker.
More recently, when I’ve been working in DC, most of the beer gardens/bars I’ve gone to have the ABV figures on the menu. Don’t know if that’s a national trend though…
