All the best for your ops, mate. Back at it in no time!
booze update
Thank you all for your kindness. Sorry to bring things down in the thread. The experience was difficult, but I’m now doing everything I can to live a happy life, like she wanted
Now, back to regularly scheduled programming….
Sorry to hear this Kel. Horrible to see someone you care about so consumed.
bosstrabs Jonathan still blabbing on about the intricacies of running a bar in the Bay Area when he’s literally the only one interested.
It’s pretty much the only JY content I’m here for.
And he might not be pedantic enough to call you out on this, but I’m pretty sure he’s running it in downtown LA not “the Bay Area” right Jonty?
Good luck with your op grant
Cankles-McJeggings Cheers Dermo!
Yeah I’m sure everything will go fine Grant.
Cheers all!
I had four small cans of Punk AF last night and have woken up with a hangover - I hardly ever get the fuckers - how the hell did that happen?

Dunno but you need to be caning the water if you can. Anesthesia and dehydration are not best mates. When’s your cut off for fluids?
Along_the_Wire
Best of luck Granto.
Hope the op goes well Grant. That’s also a shitter getting a hangover on AF cans.
Cankles-McJeggings two hours before. I drink a lot of water anyway, but will be get it onboard this morning.

Aye I’d be nailing it. Does seem odd if it’s something you usually drink and never get hangovers. You know the fuckers that cause them. You do drink them usually??
Cankles-McJeggings I don’t drink them often and when I do, it’s only a couple.
Hmmm maybe they are hangover material then.
All the best for the op mate. You’ll be in and out before you know it, I’m sure.
Cankles-McJeggings with a few weeks off the booze, I’ll see if it was those - I’ll push the boat out tomorrow and try 6. They make you piss a lot more than normal beer
haha I’m sure there’s some scientific explanation for that .
Op was fine. 3 hours. They gave me no painkillers outside of a local after the general, but that should last a while. One of the fingers needed more work than expected, so I’ve got a lot of stitches when they were going to leave the wound open (new technique)
