Cankles-McJeggings Dunno but you need to be caning the water if you can. Anesthesia and dehydration are not best mates. When’s your cut off for fluids?
Along_the_Wire Cankles-McJeggings two hours before. I drink a lot of water anyway, but will be get it onboard this morning.
Cankles-McJeggings Along_the_Wire Aye I’d be nailing it. Does seem odd if it’s something you usually drink and never get hangovers. You know the fuckers that cause them. You do drink them usually??
Along_the_Wire Cankles-McJeggings with a few weeks off the booze, I’ll see if it was those - I’ll push the boat out tomorrow and try 6. They make you piss a lot more than normal beer
Along_the_Wire Op was fine. 3 hours. They gave me no painkillers outside of a local after the general, but that should last a while. One of the fingers needed more work than expected, so I’ve got a lot of stitches when they were going to leave the wound open (new technique)
Along_the_Wire vinnyt77 alcohol free beer! I’m having a break from booze whilst I can’t do much - as much as anything need to control my weight for cycling when I’m back in business - it’s a killer otherwise. I do need a break thought, especially after Glastonbury.
Along_the_Wire This is the best AF beer I’ve ever had - really excellent. Tastes like a decent NE IPA:
Millsy I preferred the ‘six bottles of vin rouge in one sitting’, smash the place up and fire everyone on sight, Nazi Grant to the ‘low/no alcohol for me as it makes me wobbly’ pacifist, let me hold the door open for you, Grant, I have to say.
Along_the_Wire Millsy and a LOL for Millsy! The AF thing is just for a couple of weeks - need a break, but mainly I’ll put on weight not cycling, so mostly for that - I’ve actually been losing it and will be 82kg in a day or too, which is the lightest I’ll have been for 20-odd years. I’m also not eating much.
