Yeah Love & Hate is a stone cold classic.
this stuff is quite similar, just upped a notch šš»
Can also give Brewdug Layer Cake (7% Marshmallow & Chocolate stout) a massive š
C_J might have to check that. A good stout is a thing of beauty.
C_J that is a decent can from Tescos. North Brewing Co Lost Cosmonauts is my default if buying IPAs from there.
RichM absolutely love North. Would love to visit their taproom in Leeds one day, everything they put out is of a very high standard
Millsy this one has got āmerryā Christmas written all over it Stu. I canāt normally drink more than one of these sweet stouts in a session but this un is prettyfuckingmoreish
C_J same here. Discovered them early on in lockdown, and soon became my brewery of choice for online orders. Not cheap though!
C_J Iāve been to it years ago, they used to have another place called Further North too.
Quality beer.
Fuck me that Layer Cake sounds delicious. Canāt drink stout since I was diagnosed with hemochromatosis (the Irish aids) last year.
Old-Dutch
Aka good aids.
Ach itās nice enough mate but not as sweet as staying healthy
RichM someoneās been spoiling themselves!
Hursty they still do, further north is a 10 minute walk away from me. Itās very tiny, like drinking in the front room of a small terraced house. It used to be a motor spares shop.
Unbroken1 Love & Hate was my beer discovery of the year
Picked up one of these earlier, looking forward to cracking it open at 6pm.
Smallman1 itās glorious stuff mate. Shouldāve got two imo.
Anybody tried monkey shoulder or woodford reserve whiskeys.
Dubman monkey shoulder is a bit like JW red.
Have you tried Redbreast 12yr, Dubman?
TitianWarrior Are you in Chapel A?
My Mrs was living in Meanwood post uni years when I met her so did a fair bit of drinking in the area. In fact Meanwood started getting a few extra bars in the centre other than East of Arcadia. Not been back for years now we are poncy southerners!
LT42 No mate. Iām new to the whiskey game so donāt really want to spend to much and not like.
Hursty I am in Moortown technically (I pretty much live on the border of Moortown /Chapel Allerton). Meanwood has improved massively over the years, probably due to Chapel Allerton and Headingley pricing people out of the market. That and Waitrose opening there š
Dubman No mate. Iām new to the whiskey game so donāt really want to spend to much and not like
try this
Dubman well Redbreast is the finest whiskey known to man and not a bank breaker. Satisfaction guaranteed.
