303abuser You what? Iāve absolutely no idea how youāve managed to come those questions and their insinuations based on my post.
I was clearly just responding to Ampsā post where he claimed that the only way in which āsociety only really changesā is to āreally fuck off the people with money and power and the middle classes that leech from themā, e.g. with methods such as ā iād burn every Target in the States, every Starbucks, every chain store, and anything I could find specifically linked to Trump, the Kock Brothers etcā.
So I was hypothesising that were Ampsā claim true, and that the rioters were indeed trying to really change society, then also trashing their own neighbourhoods including local retailers, as opposed to big businesses and genuine sources of power, is misguided ( in addition to being potentially counter-productive in many ways).
Do you think that people such as the Koch Brothers will be that bothered by, say, a local convenience store or furniture store thousands of miles away being trashed and looted? Do you think that even the owners of Target would feel much impact from just one of their stores being wrecked? Trump might notice a police station being burned to the ground (albeit the knock-on effect that would have and his subsequent response to such a thing is a different question).
As I say, Iām just speculating on how Ampsā theory actually correlates with what is going on with the riots at the moment.
