I didn’t say you had to agree with it (though I wonder which aspects of what was said in the video you’d consider to be false or misleading).
Still, it does seem that the labelling of someone who you simply don’t agree with, or don’t want to agree with, as a “troll” is a rather pernicious and lazy accusation. Of course the accusation gets thrown about often on the internet, but it’s also been leveled at me a few times now on JC. It strikes me that its use is principally a self-defense mechanism which means that you can easily and conveniently dismiss out of hand any points someone raises as immediately invalid, without actually having to put in the effort of bothering to think about what is being said.
Also, the idea that someone could never have anything of value to say just because they are on the other side is also an unhealthy degree of partisanship, no?
PS, what “roll” does she fill on the Maga circuit? Egg mayo?
