Yeah, that is a complete fantasy. Anything “progressive” coming from a Biden administration will benefit corporate interests first and foremost. See Affordable Care Act for example A. I agree that that is waaaaay better than Don, but its those types of policies that lead to Don in the first place. And if you think Don is scary, just wait until you see POTUS Tom Cotton in 4.5 years…

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room while we’re here. Every American President since the second World War has served corporate interests. That will never change. It’s basically the diesel that keeps the engine moving. Hoping for the alternative would mean changing the whole world economic system. And that won’t ever happen. Unless the aliens come and save us all.

LT42 The current climate can clearly not be maintained. A smart administration would work to convince the powers that be that producing a healthy, financially stable middle class is actually the best way to serve the powers that be. There are an infinite number of ruling donors to bend the knee too. Letting pharma, insurance, and fossil fuels control the game is shot sighted.
