It’s not though, is it?
Oasis must have agreed to have dynamic pricing as part of their ticket offer, and that’s on them, but Live Nation’s CEO has said that they plan/hope to roll out dynamic pricing across their global operations, and a number of Governments (including the UK) are looking at whether there’s enough transparency in the model (there isn’t).
Folks point out that airline tickets have had a dynamic pricing model for decades, but the two aren’t comparable. If I go and buy an Easyjet ticket, I don’t have to queue for 6 hours before I see the price. There also isn’t a ‘face value’ price published, which proves to be inaccurate after my 6 hours of queueing,
