303abuser pigments v3 is out today, a free upgrade for those of us who already own it … https://www.arturia.com/products/analog-classics/pigments#en
303abuser Henry yeah it’s crazy how much they added, guess that’s why their servers were useless all day yesterday. i’m going to spend the next week turning pigments into a dub chord design machine. i need to spend more time learning it and that seems like a good excuse.
LT42 seanc80 Yeah I dont know where this burst of creativity has come from, he must be getting good hash.
303abuser i don’t know if anyone else loves this as much as i do, but if you’re into tape, check this out …
apyssjw New track Has a CD1 vibe - was a little bit of a experiment in using fewer elements than I ordinarily would. Thanks, as ever to anyone pressing play.
303abuser apyssjw i like the more minimal sound, almost deep house/dubby in places. it’s a nice track, the density of sound is good, everything has it’s own space. 🙂
apyssjw 303abuser Phil-McRackin Cheers both. That’s really what I was going for on this one. Let the sounds, some of which are thicker, work without to much in their way.
apyssjw Going back to music podcasts here’s another one I’ve started listening to. This one is an intenview with Om Unit - who I’m a bit of a fan of.
303abuser i’ll now spend the next two weeks trying to resist arturia’s fx bundle. i like their software, this will be a tough one. https://www.arturia.com/products/software-effects/fx-collection/overview#en
mono-stereo 303abuser I like the way they say “audio fx you’ll actually use”. Most fx plugins sound a bit naff. Interested to have a play myself.
303abuser mono-stereo yeah it’s hit and miss, but the right ones sound just as good as anything analog. i’m looking specifically at the space echo emu, bus force, and the spring/plate reverbs. for $150, the rest is a bonus if they’re good.
apyssjw mono-stereo There’s a bit of ‘everyone has loads of FX plugins that do roughly the same thing so it has to be be good to get used - so check out these good ones’.
