Thanks! To be honest I am not a big fan of the track, although there’s some interesting ideas going on with the layering of the chords which worked out OK.
Yeah, Wayne really is a very good mastering engineer. I gave him a couple of tracks with about 6 stems in each and within a few hours he had pretty much nailed what I had miserably attempting to do myself. The detail he brings out is exceptional. The production quality on your tracks is something else, as everything is really clean and can be picked out easily; even though there’s a lot of stuff going on. But yes, you are right it’s best to give him something decent to work with from the start. I am delighted he didn’t complain as I would have been devastated if he made me go back and do them again!
