Henry haha thanks, it probably should have been, but i finished it a couple of weeks after i submitted the album. would’ve fit well with slow tide to start things out.

I’m just going to bung it on the end of the album and pretend that this never happened.

good call, playlists are a wonderful thing. i’ve got a bunch of tracks ready for release, so i’ll probably put one out every couple of weeks over the summer while i attempt a concept album. hopefully that project comes together by september or so.

303abuser Good stuff. Look forward to that.

Might have an EP out this weekend. If I can sort my shit out. Hold tight!

also i just put my discography on sale for 75% off this weekend as bandcamp is waiving artist fees on friday. in case anyone is interested. 😉

apyssjw the preview sounds good, i’m looking forward to hearing the rest of dream rabbit.

303abuser Thanks. That’s the track I pitched to spotify (who knows if anyone listens to non-name pitches!).

apyssjw i’ve had zero luck with official spotify playlists, but that doesn’t stop me from submitting still. i’ve found way more success with user playlists through submithub, dailyplaylists, etc.

Didn’t quite make it to the EP stage. This time a bit more banging/abstract.

Henry i like this one too, really enjoyed the space of the delays with the claps/percs up the middle and the wide hats and ping pong delays. would make a great set builder.

Love that, Henry. That’s the set opener in the make believe set in my head.

Cheers lads. You say some lovely things to a middle aged bloke in the midst of an existential crisis.

apyssjw Will check out your album on spotify.

Ran through the album this week. Passage is my favourite, gets a thumbs up.

SM001 i haven’t. i’ll watch tutorials on youtube if i’m looking for a particular technique, but i’m a fan of the trial and error method. i find it more fun that way, although it probably doesn’t help the learning curve.

Does anybody have the stems for Luzon - The Bagguio Track?

here’s my new one, more slow-building dub techno. i wrote it the day after picking up byome and used it on pretty much every channel in some way.

              Now released.

No playlisting but here’s the spotify link

Byome looks cool - on the list to try at some point.

i have nothing but great things to say about all of their software. lion, triad, spec ops are all fantastic too.

apyssjw i like it, reminds me a little of microlith’s ‘dance with me’ album. dream rabbit is my favorite, along with the closer. you should be proud of this. 🙂

i released my album and another label single from back in may on bandcamp today and decided to do a sale along with it. 50% off singles/album/catalog with the code ekodust50off. feel free to share it. 🙂

303abuser Many thanks for listening and for taking the time to comment. It’s 100% appreciated. There’s years of work in this music. It was worth it for me - so hopefully there’s something in there for other people too 😃

apyssjw you’re welcome, it’s easy to tell you put a lot of work into it. and that’s kind of my philosophy as well, i make music i like, hopefully someone else does too.

tons of great insight in this series (the sound is awful, but it’s still worth watching) …

Dubman haha i have no idea. it feels house-ish to me, but i honestly don’t know what my music sounds like to anyone else. that and my concept of genres is 20 years old.

I really like it what ever it is. It has a nice swing to it.

…Paul Nolan masterclass is great too, the sound design one is quite inspirational

Dubman thanks, glad it isn’t awful. i need work to slow down so i can start writing again; had this and one more to release next month that i finished in may/june. have a dozen sketches started for an album (hopefully), but it’s been extremely slow with nice weather and too much work.

Unbroken1 cheers. and yeah i’ve watched a couple of his videos, they’re all really good, especially with the nonsesne of all the ‘top 10 tricks’ click bait tutorials out there.

Mad_Cyril haha thanks, i’m going with boss dub now. i really don’t care what it’s called, it’s just all the stupid hash tags and genre specific forums that require it.

                          a month later

for the above sale the code MEGA-SALE-20OFF will take $20 of the order with no minimum purchase. there’s some good stuff there for less than $20, essentially making it free.
