apyssjw …always have multiple things going on, it’s the finishing off part that I struggle with 😅
I’m always learning when it comes to production, I don’t consider myself an expert in any department, lots of ideas though! Have added a few bits of hardware in recent years, tried to be really selective about what I buy but have barely scratched the surface with them to be honest, I’m always fascinated to watch videos on how different people integrate it into their workflow, I haven’t managed it yet.
I’m also really lacking in confidence when it comes to mixing/mastering, but have had really varied results when I’ve involved other people. Have been a bit spoiled that my previous studio partner had really good all-round skills in those departments and a knack of being able to get down what was in my head.
