Henry Time is always the problem. Are you like me and go through times where you’re really good at starting projects and other times where you just feel like mixing and finishing everything? I think that’s why I tend to put out albums, it fits my workflow to finish several mostly done tracks in the span of a week or two.
The syntakt is my favorite box right now. I find it so easy to start groves to build tracks from. The new album with Essentia Sound has the syntakt all over it, bass, percussion, chords, it’s just a great starting point. When this project is done, I’m going to spend a month working out a hardware workflow and start to put a mostly analogue album together.
