Along_the_Wire Good call, it has issues like all software, but it’s so capable. Can’t wait to hear what you come up with.

Along_the_Wire Nice one, Grant. Welcome aboard. There’s enough Ableton meffs here to give you advice.
Been using it ever since I hear Sasha do that Supatrigga thing on that Tierschurtz track when he still had a Graeme Gooch hair weave. Dunno if it’s the best DAW but have never considered moving to any other. Previously had used Reason and Cubase. And when I started using Ableton only then realised how horrific they were.
Shame that you can’t use the Logic as a slave in Ableton as it has some very good tools.
Anyway, enough about my plop production journey. Good luck!
The Moogerfooger plugins are on sale …
303abuser I’ve can’t get my Model D plug in to work with Ableton, which is very annoying. Does this download in the Model D and/or better?!
Go to bed grant. You work dodging fucker!
Cankles-McJeggings Go to bed grant
LOL, in Thailand - having a spot of breakfast.
Aaah haha lucky bastard. Where about?
Cankles-McJeggings Just off Phuket in Coconut Island. But if a tired resort, but food and booze are terrific and it’s so, so cheap I feel a little guilty.

I sorted this, had to go into settings and turn on AUv3 for Ableton to see the plug-in. Who I knew?!
Along_the_Wire Glad you figured it out, that’ll probably save me some trouble if I attempt it.
303abuser I’m actually worried that the mastering engineer is going to send me a note asking me to tone some of it down
Been told to do just that in a track I’m having mastered at the moment - balance across the track is a bit out in the version I sent out so been told to dial back the sub on a part to even it up a little.
So you should be ok if it consistently rumbles all the way through : )
303abuser If not, the balance can easily be adjusted using a tilt eq across the mix
Morty-C-137 Yeah lots of ways to fix it if needed. I’m sure it’s ok, just doubting myself because that’s what I do. I almost feel out of practice with mixing and it’s different when collaborating because I haven’t controlled it all from the start.
New ep is out today. Links for bandcamp and spotify, but it’s available everywhere.
