There’s been quite a bit of noise about Dark in the last month. Wondering if I should commit, with the subtitles and time travel.

Crazy Delicious is good, it’s like Great British Bake Off on acid. The Big Family Cooking Showdown is easy watching too. Shit is going down on Masterchef Australia too, the top 5-6 cooks are killing it.

Dark is great, Rhouses. Will twist your melon.

Have you watched Bong Appetit where they cook with cannabis.

Dark is brilliant. Proper top 5 GOAT for me. Just make sure you actually watch it and pay attention to what’s going on. It’s not for casual viewing and literally every line of dialogue and scene is important at some point. (E.g I think IIRC, there’s something that happens in S1 that becomes important 12 episodes later toward the end of S2 - it’s full of stuff like that).

Wally Just make sure you actually watch it and pay attention to what’s going on.

This is where the Mrs fails. 50% of her attention is on Facebook.

Watch foreign language TV mostly on my own now.

        Dark is very good

Dont think your helping yourself if you’re watching any of this stuff toasted!

Dark is rubbish, literally nothing happens for 3 seasons. Bit like this place if it were a German drama.

Dubman Not yet, but I’ve been following the host on Instagram for a long while. Can’t find the episodes anywhere but looks like good fun with B-Real and all.

Will get on Dark, looks like a lot of effort but the pay-off would be worth it.

‘Flares’ watched Dark for three seasons before deciding it was rubbish. Lol.

Mad_Cyril There’s only one way to watch these cooking shows MC. ha. Top Chef had a decent season as well, the last few episodes are in Italy just before covid, which makes it a little eerie.

Like how Master Chef Australia feels like its being taped in real time, all sorts of social distancing happening on the show and they’ve had to change the format. One of contestants gets booted off because he got arrested for sexual assault in the middle of taping. Still holds up nicely though.

It’s okay for other people to have different opinions, Mills. God forbid a world where every free thinker has to conform to the Bournemouth Bluffers way of thinking.

Flares each to their own of course. I was merely pointing out you maybe shouldn’t have watched 30 hours of something before deciding it was rubbish.

You haven’t engaged my wife in a convo!

Dubman The problem with Breaking Bad is Jesse Pinkman became such a detestable little scrote I just wanted him to be whacked every episode. Walter White was also a prick who I no longer rooted for.

The two best characters from Breaking Bad ended up in the spin-off, which I actually prefer.

            Spoiler

I liked how Break Bad built the tension in the last 3-4 episodes with monster finales at the end of seasons. Walter running over the dealers to protect Jesse, Jesse shooting the nerd, Gus getting blown up. The train episodes were mental too. Did get a bit hyped and overly dramatic at the end though.

Better Call Saul was boring as fuck in the first couple of seasons, but it’s goes into great territory after that.

You were boring as fuck in the first couple of GU seasons.

Better Call Saul is like a fine wine bosstrabs, the Sugar Rush generation won’t appreciate it’s pace and finesse.

Flares Bah. All the daddy issues with the older brother and the law firm was a bit grating. Gets interesting when Mike and Gus are introduced.

Not a Will Ferrell fan except for Blades of Glory, but I enjoyed Eurovision.
