DOWNFALL: The Case Against Boeing…I don’t fancy flying on any Boeing aircraft after watching that.

Dubman the 747, 777 and 787 fleets are incredible aircraft and highly dependable, Dman. Its just the MCAS system on the new Max being the issue. The 737 fleets are solid to be fair. I read some great pieces on the Max issue and it calmed my nerves. I’ll find the links and add them later. Boeing as a company seem to be a huge problem. Trying to put pressure on the FAA and getting pushed back every time, rightly so.
Once the Airbus A220s are in wider use in the next 20 years Boeing will struggle, unless they come out with something similiar themselves. Most companies will move to Airbus for cost reasons I’d imagine.

Can’t disagree about most of their fleet. But the problems which occurred over the 737 max seems to have started when Boeing partnered up with Lockheed. The problem was the Mcas system which was new to the 737 max. But Boeing insisted that there needed no additional pilot training to fly it. But in reality they did and it was all about saving the company money.

Caught up on season 3 & 4 of ozark, pleasantly surprised at the quality of the show. But I wouldn’t say it’s wire, sopranos, mad men, break bad levels. It’s good, not great.

seanc80 It’s a shitty version of breaking bad. Plus it took me a bit of time to warm up to all the hillbillies, which makes up about 90% of the characters. The cliff hanger wtf moments are pretty cool tho.

Sean’s anti-Ozark agenda still going strong.

First season of Ozark was quite good before going off a cliff in subsequent seasons. But this last one was alright. It’s nothing mind-blowing and is quite repetitive, but the acting is good. The brother in whatever season he was in was excellent even if I had no idea why he was in the show for most of his run.

Worst Roommate Ever is amusing. That last dude was a proper dickhead. The crime docs are the only reason I still hang on to Netflix. Those and whatever Fincher is working on.

jonattonyeah I appreciated the brother, and yeah, he was a nothing character for most of the season until he starts going mental in the last two episodes. I’m sure the writers thought it would pull the heart strings but it really did nothing.

The weakest link is the daughter, can’t act to save her life.
