Dubman Millsy Don’t wish to spoil it for but anyone but they Could’ve made more out of the Irish Gang Who killed Sully?
rhouses Pleasantly surprised by Top Boy, almost done with the first season. Good show. Though I do feel like my father from 15 years back, when he said he had no clue what was being said in The Wire.
SM001 Finished Top Boy and it’s Abso-bloody brilliant! The best thing Drake has ever done and will ever do. The acting from everyone involved was superb. Swear down. I thought the final season was rushed though. In a bit.
alistair SM001 another very good series, with some emotional confrontations. Thought the riots were a bit contrived though
rhouses Do you guys find yourself ending phone calls with “say no more” or “say nuthin” after watching Top Boy? Something I might pick up.
rhouses Into season 3 of Top Boy, nearing the end. Some great twists and turns in season 2. The ending was screaming at me in the face, but didn’t see it coming. The protest at the start of s3 was bizarre, not a very good plot device.
rhouses Jesus season 3 is terrible. The writing is the worst, most of the dialogue is cheeseball. Falls off the cliff big time.
-si- Along_the_Wire I’m yet to catch up on the first season of Jesus, no spoilers please. That must be up there with titanic in terms of plot twists and ending…
mono-stereo Next week’s episode of rhouses reviews it! “I was into it (Russle Grant’s horoscope) but then it fell off the cliff big time.”
Millsy Think he’s just annoyed that it took him three seasons to realise all the ‘food’ they were all talking about was actually drugs.
rhouses Back to Top Boy’s finale season, I can’t get over how cheesy that last conversation between sully and dushane was. Disappointing because their interactions through the show were pretty complex and tense. And Jaq flipping into some righteous do-gooder, just didn’t buy it. The Irish gang felt really random, but tbf these types of characters do show up for a short time. Think there were at least two more seasons left for the show, this felt rush and a subpar way to end things.
