Looks like Netflix have their first good film on their hands since Fincher’s The Killer last year with Jeremy Saulnier’s Rebel Ridge, which is out tomorrow and has reviewed insanely well for what seems like a First Blood-copy. 85 in Metacritic would be a good score for any film, let alone a Netflix-original. And the trailer made it look like the worst bog standard straight to video action-movie. Will watch it right away tomorrow for sure.
I loved Blue Ruin, have still not watched Green Room, and liked Hold the Dark (a lot of people didn’t).
