23skidoo Survive And Advance is one of the 30 for 30 documentaries, can’t recommend it enough

Anyone started on High Score yet? Piqued my interest.

My ex didn’t think The Wire was good.

    I shot her.

LT42 I watched this too. That first episode is the best I think, but the rest weren’t bad either.

Anyone seen United Nation :Three decades of drum & bass.

Really enjoyed High Score. Never heard of the game ‘Night Trap’, the history behind it I thought hilarious.

Wasily yeah was nice to see the story behind nintendo, space invaders and all.

        Dubman

Must check that out. Another one called what we started is supposed to be decent too. About the electronic scene.

          -si- what we started

haven’t heard of that either i don’t think. I’ll check them both out when i get back later.

          -si- what we started

I’ve seen that already last year. It’s ok but not brilliant.

          Wasily Really enjoyed High Score.

Just watched the first two episodes, very good stuff. Brilliant start with the voice over from the chap who coded ET 😂
Thanks Wasily, I was unaware of it.

Just finished it and it’s ok. I’ve never really been into drum and bass but do know a lot friends that went to one nation events. He did mention that his first rave was Sterns listening to Fabio.
Still quite surprised that nobody has done a documentary about the Prog/ trance scene.

alistair This is spot on. The second series is just absolute fucking shite - massively unrealistic reactions everywhere. How could you write the first one and then come up with that tripe for the second one? It’s so unbelievable and inauthentic its untrue.
