LT42 Monsters Inside is a bizaare story. Finished episode 2 so don’t know where its going to go from here but its worth a watch if these things are your bag.
Along_the_Wire Squid game certainly ended as a bit of a damp squid, didn’t it? An annoying final episode
Along_the_Wire mono-stereo definitely, just a bit of a weak ending. It’s stupid, violent fun otherwise.
BlainSA Along_the_Wire The episodes did go downward after a point. The final part of the last episode just had me shouting at the screen, “You fucking idiot!” over and over… In other words, Mono. You should definitely watch it.
SM001 Hursty I’m 2 episodes in and it feels like a poor man’s ‘Halt and Cath Fire’. Interesting story though. I can’t get past one of the main characters looking like Richie Hawtin and Brian Anderson is the spit of Keith Lemon.
jonattonyeah rhouses I thought it was well acted. Very well shot. Made up for some weird pacing and narrative problems. Not perfect but enjoyable enough. Good by Netflix standards. Most of what they put out is terrible outside of docs.
rhouses jonattonyeah I watched the whole thing on a hotel TV and the settings were a bit wonky, wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Enough for the missus and I to marathon the whole thing on our staycation.
jonattonyeah rhouses He’s a very talented director who could use some help with the writing side of things. Everything he does is….fine. Enjoyable enough. But his direction has the potential to make something really, really good. Everything he does always seems to be missing something to push it over the top.
