Seen him three times - brilliant stuff. Went to Paisley Park when I went on a trip to Chicago/Minneapolis a few years ago - that was amazing, I have to say.
Netflix
Prince could legitmately play upwards of 30 different instruments. Can you imagine the ridin he was doing.
He couldn’t make a decent prog track if his life depended on it though.
It’s a funny old game.

One of the great creative streaks up to and including Sign of the Times. Subsequent albums patchy at best. He even gave one away free with the Mail on Sunday

He got a fortune for that.

Lovesexy is a belter!
Along_the_Wire Forgot that was after Sign of the times. Up until that point then. Eye No to Alphabet Street
Followed the gabby petito case in real time, guess you could say her family did a good job with the awareness if some random dude in Bangalore kept getting served news items and YouTube videos of all the drama.
Not such a bad true crime Netflix doc. Kinda sad, but hard to have sympathy for gen z fucks.
Been a long time coming…filmed in 2021, not still sure why it’s taken this long but Gareth Evans directed so should be good.
Annihilation, probably the best Netflix original movie ever, is leaving the service in ten days on March 12th. Now is the time to watch it if you haven’t before. I myself have watched it three times by my count.
The bear scene is super chill.
Also the film was shot completely in the UK. The shack with the alligator was shot in a pond in Windsor Great Park. The set dressers were VERY good in other words, because I sure thought that was Florida.
I’m in the other split - awful film. Pulled the ripcord after an hour
Half way through Zero Day and enjoying it so far. Surprised it’s not been mentioned yet, considering De Niro is in it
Zero Day was ok, not terrible I guess.
RichM De Niro should retire
Phil-McRackin Disney need to sign him to direct Blade, hes perfect for it

Best thing about Zero Day was the return of Matthew Modine’s as the reptilian speaker. What a barnet too.
nicksneddon wouldn’t disagree with that, shot in Wales and unrated.
Along_the_Wire prob needs the money but he isn’t too bad in this? So far his role is a bit odd though
Has anyone seen Adolescence yet? Looks superb.
Delighted to find out this week you can still get DVDs from Netflix… no idea if they do BluRay, or what quality said BluRay might be…
Please, please be a good series this time…..
Millsy watched the first episode last night, a decent start. Not a cheery one to watch and I don’t get why they do it as one long shot per episode. It’s clever doing that but makes them have to force scenes into it to keep the one shot flow.
Looking forward to watching the rest of it this weekend
Millsy I’m 3 episodes in and enjoying it.
Dry-Tinder I finished all 4 episodes and not sure if I enjoyed it or not. I would have preferred if they didn’t do the one shot filming as that clearly limits what they can do in 4 episodes. I did think each episode was very good, but they could have made it a more complete series if filmed differently. Would be interested to know if they decided on how to film it first and then decide plot based on that or the other way round.
Made me chuckle Stephen Graham slagging off drum n bass at one point, considering he is good mates with Goldie
