benson …dunno about that, his character certainly has a similar sycophantic trait to Tom in Succession, but he was also kinda wily and revelled in punching down (specifically at Greg).
I thought he was brilliantly awful in this. His sheer desperation is palpable… the scene where he finally gets the sit down with the President after waiting for days is devastating, ‘help… me!’
