Suburra: Blood on Rome - I’m almost through season one - it’s a bit of a Disney version of Gomorrah and think it’s alright, but I’m actually just not sure. Thought the film was great.

Dubman Supposedly, I don’t know how true that is though. The story of him undressing in the back alley and then walking up the stairs in his y-fronts covered in blood sounds like pure horseshit concocted just for the series.

that cecil hotel documentary has to be one of the most disingenuous piles of shit i’ve ever watched. they basically built a story where one didn’t exist, it was like watching a twitter feed. this should’ve been a 5 minute piece and never mentioned again. you have to feel for her family.

303abuser I mean, it would have been a good story if they highlighted the history of “accidents” at the hotel instead of focusing on that one disappearance. I went and looked up how many deaths have happened there, and the entirety of it is interesting, but that ONE story is not.

Kells77 yeah that’s exactly what i said to my wife. make it about the hotel and how the city of LA and society in general try to hide poverty instead of dealing with the root issues. instead of that, they tried to make up some loose and baseless paranormal backdrop where it just doesn’t exist. focusing on a girl with a history of mental health issues and misrepresenting them until the last 20 minutes is just trash “journalism”.

I just watched series 2 and 3…it’s more of the same to be honest, what they do and get away with becomes more and more outlandish but I liked the characters so stuck with it but I feel that your tolerance is pretty low. Not as good as the film or Gomorrah
