Odd selection of tunes there. Seems like he’s trying too hard to be ‘progressive’. Tunes from 92/3 in there with 95 doesn’t sit well with my OCD.

Cankles-McJeggings Agree. @nicksneddon ’s ‘My Renaissance’ if you want a trip down that memory lane
Wasily .
Yep I’ve listened to it
The thing is you can’t wing 92/3 tunes with 95. Such a big shift in sound/production techniques. Best left alone.
Cankles-McJeggings Thought you’d be all over it, Mucker.
Nah he’s fucked it up for me. I’m a purist and 92 with 95 is unforgivable. A completely different epoch.
Nowadays you can get away with 10 years because it all sounds the fucking same, but 92 with 95? Nope.
Cankles-McJeggings I can’t stomach listening to those “oldie” mixes anyway, more power to people that can but I find them cheesey myself. Some fella trying to shoehorn every classic there ever was into a mix. I’m yet to find a classic mix done with a bit of class using rare tracks or alternative mixes. Its always top of the pops.
Cankles-McJeggings completely lazy mix - does nothing interesting with the tunes…. Hasn’t really been interested for years sadly
The Chloe Caillet EM is good. Recorded live too. New name to me

Hold tight for feedback!
Rainy day here, so finished Bankhead’s mix (I loved it, yes all rinsed classics but I really liked some of the transitions and though they were clever), Sasha’s Rave forever 6Music-mix (meh, this I felt WAS a boring selection), and the Chloe Caillet e-mix. Which was great. And I read half of William Gibson’s All Tomorrow’s Parties while listening to the mixes.
