That whole Mambo channel is pure car crash. Mel C spinning Spice Girls tracks with a beat over it whilst leathered on marching powder (took a brief look out of curiosity, wish I hadn’t now). Oakey not even bothering to try and DJ properly with Daniel Davoli. Sasha going from hero (at Roundhouse) to zero with a set fit for Sharon & Tracy’s.
That place used to be so good, but it’s been turned into a bit of a joke. Gone are the days of rocking up to a cafe to sit at any table available, eat/drink and listen to some Balearic beats. Seems they’re onto a proper money grab these days with tiered entry to certain parts of the cafe. Probably have to pay a cover charge just to use the toilet now too.
Sad state of affairs!
