This looks a pretty good set, not that I am paying for it

alistair looks very tasty though it’s Dave Seaman so I’ll reserve judgement
Jules72 oh come on, all of us veterans have had at least one good Dave Seaman night (several at the Cross and Turnmills). Furthermore, some of his back in the day comps (GU and Renaissance) were excellent and Selador puts out some good stuff.
alistair so this 30 mins from the Dave Seaman engage set sounds seriously good…. I might even subscribe

alistair LOL @Dave Seaman having some good GUs. Except for maybe Buenos Aires they were all pure BSPF.
I don’t mind dave at all, he gets some pelters on here.
Awakenings is an all time great imo
Disc 1 of Desire is a fav of mine.
Agree with the above, not to mention his GU series. Selador is also a consistently good label
Placebo - Running Up That Hill VOM
Dave Seamen and Nick Warren are a poor man’s Sasha & Digweed.
SM001 he did a few placebo remixes - i remember one he played at the Cross - Without You I am Nothing -took the (low) roof off tbf. Not sure why he did not go on to secure his status in the imaginary Hall of Fame - he had a fallow period in the Mid 00s and never seemed to recover. I always liked him because he said he was a Leeds fan although I think he was very much lukewarm about that.
SM001 rubbish, both are accomplished DJs in their own right, particularly Nick Warren
This was a boss night, last year @ Uni after 3 years of hammering Cream every weekend
Dave Seaman - Cream - Nation - Liverpool - 1996
Seb Leger Live Modular Set @ The Great Pyramids, Egypt
That some shirt he’s got on…
Kumquat is he socially distant enough?
Kumquat seen tracklist. 100% Leger tunes so swerve
alistair It’s a solo rave in the original home of the plague. Kinda ironic…
Kumquat I will be sure to give it a listen though. I like Leger.
Happy to confirm I’ve never had a single decent Dave Seaman night.
I did enjoy his 50th birthday stream a few months ago though.
Cheers.
Smallman1 That was a good listen.

Really enjoyed this (save for one tune in the middle). Avalon Emerson 6 mix from Friday lunchtime.
alistair Kumquat seen tracklist. 100% Leger tunes so swerve.
Yeah, of course it was all his own music. He was playing a live set with a rack of modular snyths.
alistair …you just said you like Leger, this is a live set, who’s music did you expect him to be playing?
Best mix I’ve heard since lockdown started. Can’t recommend enough
