I’m tracking projects due to be launched on the Cardano Layer 1 blockchain later this year when smart contract functionality will be added. Think Ethereum but better and without the gas fees.
Getting in on these projects such as DeFi, dApps and DEXs when they launch will make you stinking rich, just look at all of the legit projects launched on ETH like Uniswap, MakerDAO, AAVE etc etc. Their tokens all started at 0.XX.
The same is coming for Cardano, which is a 3rd gen blockchain.
The crypto space seems to be very friendly with people wanting everyone to succeed. After all, if it ramps up the price, everyone gets paid but I think you’re not going to get to investing in new coins without learning how to invest in the big players first - As I said, I knew nothing about it a month ago so looked up what to read on investopedia and it recommended ‘Cryptoassets’ by Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar. It’s a good read and should give you the ground work to take the next steps.

I’ve probably said before, but this decade is the WEB 3.0 evolution, like WEB 1.0 (dotcom era) and WEB 2.0 (app era) before there is going to be huge opportunity to invest this decade.
What is WEB 3.0? Google it, but high level its how browsers interact with blockchain technology, smart contracts, dApps etc

I could post tips in here, but fundamentally with any investment it has to be right for you. Your risk tolerance is different to mine, the projects you look at may interest in different ways.
I’m a complete amateur, just someone who was saddled with debt and wanted out.

I want in on all of this, and feel the best option is to give my money to Hursty and come back in a couple of years when I’m a millionaire. Then I can concentrate on all the other Jaded Clubber threads.
RichM Like I said, i’m no pro, just immersed myself in the market, picked up some tips, sold my bikes, loaded some overdrafts and dived in.
The statistics back up what we are seeing currently in the crypto market, this bull run is expected to roll on into next year before crashing. No need to know exactly when, just the signs that is its coming, much like 2017 when Bitcoin doubled and doubled over a very short period of time. We are not close to that this cycle yet, bitcoin moving from 50k-60k, then 70k-80k is a steady rise. When it goes from 100k to 200k in a couple of weeks, start scaling out into stable coins!
So Musk is now making suggestions that Tesla will accept Dogecoin after crashing the value on the weekend. That absolutely reeks. I wonder how many millions he personally piled into it after it crashed

I read a book about environmental collapse at the start of the year and it reckoned carbon coins for carbon sequestration are going to be huge in the next two decades.
SavePlanetEarth (SPE) looks to be one of the first attempts at that and that 360 trader guy mentions he’s looking at it.
If I could work out how to buy the fecking thing, I would probably take a cheeky flutter.
