Figured this is the right thread for this. They’re doing a reboot of Highlander, with Henry Cavill in the lead. If you have fond memories of the original do NOT rewatch it, it has not aged well. Jesus made that mistake a few years ago.

    Homegrove Yeah, mentioned this a while ago. I dunno what Christopher Lambert is doing in it, but it’s not acting. How the fuck Connery ended up in it is beyond me.

        Lambert’s inability to speak English coming as a surprise to the producers is one of my favorite movie-stories. He’d been cast because of Tarzan, where he didn’t speak much at all.

                      Really enjoyed Loki - Terry Gilliam does Marvel = Win. Really strong first episode. Looking forward to the rest.

                      Loved the first episode. Gilliam is correct, but I also thought of Good Place.

                      Episode 2 of Loki…. Set designs were fantastic, full on Kubrick on this one, and the end twist sent me straight to Reddit to see what it meant. Tom Hiddleston probably demanded that one scene so he could flash his Eton latin.

                      I bought two tickets (the other’s for my wife) to see Black Widow IN THE CINEMA. 🥳

                      Just six episodes of Loki, and they throw this filler at us in the form of the 3rd episode?

                      I’m yet to watch it….loved episodes 1,2.

                      Thought ep 3 was a little lacklustre compared to the first 2.
