Well for Rogue One certainly. That scene is awesome.

This bloke is brilliant.
Episode 5 of Obi Wan was great. I love Disney’s version of Vader.
The whole show is very enjoyable as long as you can switch off to the poor production values and sloppy in places writing. It’s bizarre. I dunno why Disney didn’t go all out with this and make sure it went out the door polished like a diamond. It’s literally their jewel in the star wars crown for D+. I think they take the fan base for granted and can push anything out the door and the proles will lap it up. Sigh. But anyway, ep 5 was enjoyable particularly the way it was framed with the flashbacks.
Ep 6 is rumoured to be 1h33m btw.
I love the way everyone says it’s poorly produced. As if people would know ffs.
Just enjoy it for what it is.

New Dr Strange is on Disney+ now. Wife requested we watch it straight away today, despite seeing it in theatres three months ago.

I really enjoyed the Obi-Wan finale, despite knowing who lives in advance, it still entertained and there’s another ‘obvious in retrospect’ moment towards the end that I thought was quite a nice touch. Overall I think it’s the best SW TV series Disney have put out so far but then I thought Mando was average at best and TBOBF was shite. Ultimately, they got the big important things right and they managed to have a few touching moments and a few surprises along the way (all without cramming member berries into every shot). Sure the execution was rough (or deliberately aimed at children) in places but I can’t imagine SW is the series for you if you can’t suspend disbelief to look past them. It’s kinda turned me around. I was done after TBOBF but I’ll see what they put out next. I think S2 of this could actually work when I didn’t before. A charitable 8/10 for enjoyment.
Aren’t they going to adapt the Vader graphic novel series? That should be pretty awesome, would be better if they made it rated r.
The last episode was incredulous nonsense. Disappointing end to an otherwise entertaining series
