-si- Yes Si, I have. Thanks for asking. In return, may I ask how old you are?

Overall I really liked it, it didnt really start off great but the last couple of episodes were really enjoyable – loved what they did with the 4th wall some of it was hilarious. Im a massive Daredevil fanboy so maybe Im biased. The series was the polar opposite to Moon Knight which started with an absolute banger but just got progressively worse as it went along

Wally I’m assuming he features in your latest children’s programme and is something of a cunt?

-si- I’m reserving my judgement until my 12 year old comes in from school and gives me his verdict.

      Dan

Made it through the first 2 episodes with my ten year old, was sensationally bad viewing, dan!

      • Dan replied to this.

Well I hate to break it to you Si, but you and your 10 year old are intolerant for not appreciating the empowerment of women by depicting them as giant green monsters who are low key horny and love the law.

-si- it was a referance to the final episode I knew only Wally would get. He’s a nice guy, and I like to make him feel special.

-si- I just don’t watch it, mate. Disney ruined Star Wars and there now doing the same thing with this next MCU gibberish.

However …. Horses for courses and all that jazz.

Ok, hg, glad to hear that, i thought i had made a faux pas with trans etiquette or something…

It’s not all doom and gloom with Disney….loving the old man series with Jeff Bridges & John Lithgow..

Dan behave! Jeff Bridges looked like a fucking corpse and the dialog was atrocious! Also, why did they dress the daughter up like Paul Newman in Slap Shot?

              Dan

I have been watching the star wars movies with the young one, had to sit through the first 3 prequels again.

We are up to empire strikes back now. Looking forward to that.

The solo film was a shambles.

Millsy Ringing endorsements from both Wally and Hanners? You know what to do.

                Kill myself?

Solo has to up there with the Crystal Skull as one lifes most crushing disappointments – aside from sleeping with me, obviously

-si- Empire is prob the best Star Wars film imho.

Dan Easily. The only other one that is even at the races is episode IV - A New Hope. That said, I love The Last Jedi.

Homegrove Cinematically Last Jedi is excellent. There’s some parts that just suck.

What’s the consensus here about Avatar 2? I will make my decision whether to go see it in the cinema or not once the first one comes back to Disney+. It got taken away for awhile because they remastered it and put it back to theatres in September. I saw it in the theatres back in 2009, liked it well enough for the spectacle and gimmicky 3D, but had no desire to watch it at home. Might try that once it’s available again.

It’s easy to see how this might fail, but that’s been the case with Cameron many times before.

Homegrove I see people have been moaning it’s too long. I saw the first one at the cinema, home viewing doesn’t have the same visual impact, so will take the boy to see 2 at the cinema too

Andy Serkis did an amazing job in the 9th episode of Andor. Dude has actual acting chops.

Theme music is so Way out West.
                        Slightly pitched up this evening?

Wife and I decided to wait until Wakanda Forever is on Disney+ and skip it in the cinema. I guess we’re finally oversaturated with the MCU.

Millsy when you’re more interested in the after credit scenes (as I am) then the movie it’s probably ok wait until you don’t have to pay for it.

Enjoyed that last Andor episode. 10/10

Black Panther : Wakanda Forever - really enjoyed that. Easily one of the best of Phase 4 - especially after the sub par Dr Strange 2 and Thor 4 - but doesn’t reach the lofty heights of Marvel’s best. 8 vibranium flowers / 10

The last few Marvel years have been pretty poor in the main, Love And Thunder was just terrible
