Dan Easily. The only other one that is even at the races is episode IV - A New Hope. That said, I love The Last Jedi.

Homegrove Cinematically Last Jedi is excellent. There’s some parts that just suck.

What’s the consensus here about Avatar 2? I will make my decision whether to go see it in the cinema or not once the first one comes back to Disney+. It got taken away for awhile because they remastered it and put it back to theatres in September. I saw it in the theatres back in 2009, liked it well enough for the spectacle and gimmicky 3D, but had no desire to watch it at home. Might try that once it’s available again.

It’s easy to see how this might fail, but that’s been the case with Cameron many times before.

Homegrove I see people have been moaning it’s too long. I saw the first one at the cinema, home viewing doesn’t have the same visual impact, so will take the boy to see 2 at the cinema too

Andy Serkis did an amazing job in the 9th episode of Andor. Dude has actual acting chops.

Theme music is so Way out West.
      Slightly pitched up this evening?

Wife and I decided to wait until Wakanda Forever is on Disney+ and skip it in the cinema. I guess we’re finally oversaturated with the MCU.

Millsy when you’re more interested in the after credit scenes (as I am) then the movie it’s probably ok wait until you don’t have to pay for it.

Enjoyed that last Andor episode. 10/10

Black Panther : Wakanda Forever - really enjoyed that. Easily one of the best of Phase 4 - especially after the sub par Dr Strange 2 and Thor 4 - but doesn’t reach the lofty heights of Marvel’s best. 8 vibranium flowers / 10

The last few Marvel years have been pretty poor in the main, Love And Thunder was just terrible

Hopefully we can get to at least Phase 10 boys. Hang in there, for Iron Man …

I really liked the Dr Strange movie. More so than the first one for sure. But that’s mainly probably due to Sam Raimi doing Sam Raimi-stuff.

I enjoyed the recent Dr Strange in IMAX.

zackster I am going to go see it in the cinema, not going to lie. Nice to see Cameron’s not mellowed with age. I love the legend about the crew t-shirts that said “You don’t scare me, I’ve worked for James Cameron.”

Holy shit Andor ended great. Production on season two has started in London, but the kind of post production stuff like this requires it’s going to be more than a year before we see it I think.

Probably longer if you go by what Jim has to say about the Britts.

Brother called me up like an excitable child, berating me for not going all-in on Andor. Weekend viewing marathon lined up, I suppose. Better be good!

rhouses word of warning, it doesn’t pick up until the end of the third episode, but it’s well worth it.

Homegrove word of warning, it doesn’t pick up.

              Fixed that for you.

Binged Andor over the weekend. It was fucking class. Great writing, directing, acting, the lot. Emmy grade performances from some of the cast (but no surprise when you have people like Stellan Skarsgard - his monologue in ep 10 - fucking hell) and just an absolutely great show.

              • Amps replied to this.

True facts - Space Ibiza was shot in Blackpool. Lol.

Wally his monologue in ep 10

If only someone could write a sci-fi show without speeches and monologues.

Wally That and the Barbican shots jarred with the rest of it. Why bother? Just CG for the continuity with the rest of the footage.

I totally missed the post credit scene at the end until by boy pointed it out.

I got us tickets to see the new Avatar next Thursday, so we rewatched the first one tonight. Pretty silly and hammy, but I liked it more than I expected. ⅗.
