The coasts of this country are fantastic, the middle area sans a few places (love Chicago and Nashville is a good time) are utterly shambolic. I have absolutely no desire to visit America ever again. I went to NYC in the 90s but other than that I’ll pass. If SF does get diplomatic immunity I’d defo be interested in seeing there. Always been keen since Karl Marldon and Michael Douglas were jumping cars round the gaff. Have to get rid of the guns before I’d bother though.

It’s not so bad! Always tell people SF isn’t the attraction, it’s what surrounds it. Yosemite. Tahoe. Wine Country. Lost Coast up north. Big Sur down south. Gigantic trees (never thought I’d be impressed by a tree! Was!). It’s a beautiful area with a lovely climate. Fair share of loons but the culture around this way is mind your pints and quarts and others will mind theirs. Easy to find trouble if you want it; just as easy to avoid. Nice place to live, all things considered.
