SM001 Dan Just insure you still eat a healthy diet and stay hydrated. If on any day you feel weak or “foggy” go ahead and eat.
303abuser Amps thursday morning it was -29 here (three weeks of that), today is +8, friday is supposed to be -20 again. finally out for a run 3 days in a row and by the end of the week it’ll be too cold again. my legs aren’t going to be happy for a while.
Amps Amps Weather is decent ish tomorrow, first run in a while is slated for the afternoon. That was hard work, despite warmer weather my throat and chest are hurtin, legs are no better. Possibly same again tomorrow.
Amps 303abuser Yeah, as soon as it gets below 10C / 50F I struggle with breathing the cold air. Makes the painful thing even more painful. That’s why gyms were invented 👍️
303abuser Amps yeah it was about +1C this morning and i’ve been coughing periodically since. beats -15 though.
SM001 Dan I’ve never really done it on a regular basis. I do it every few weeks for a day or two just to boost my metabolism. At 40 I need all the help i can get. 😅
303abuser Homegrove i’m good running until about -15, but it takes a week or two to get used to it. i always have a bit of a head rush for a couple hours and some congestion after when it’s that cold. beats getting fat i guess, but it’s not fun.
Smallman1 7pm Dave. Got a double nawty bottle of Pinot Noir which I’ll have a glass of, just the one though, it is a school night after all.
Kells77 I did a good hike around the Botanical Garden here on Saturday, and did a bunch of healthy meal prep yesterday, so feeling good about being ready for a good week this week. 🙂
Dubman Hoping to get out on the bike up the downs on Wednesday. I’ve also binned the white bread for wholemeal. The only problem is that it overpowers everything you put in it. cut right down on eating chocolate as well.
bosstrabs Dubman I’ve also binned the white bread for wholemeal. The only problem is that it overpowers everything you put in it. I can’t eat mass-produced sliced white bread nowadays, tastes like utter shite, and will to you too after a few months on brown.
