To be fair to poor Ed, one of his orifices is about to be probed with a length for the first time, dave…Oh no, wait a second!

Smallman1 Basically you need to grind recently roasted beans …readily ground coffee is at the bottom of the quality ladder.

Old-Dutch yeah getting better cups now that I’m ordering from Coffee Compass again…just had a bag of Gusto Gold which was superb and now on the Sweet Bourbon again…. don’t think there’s that much between all of Gusto Gold, Sweet Bourbon and Brighton Lanes… all similar and all superb. I do think they’re not that consistent though - sometimes they feel like the best beans out there, sometimes not… all depends on the crop probably

Old-Dutch what kind of bean is the mystery 13? Have always seen good reviews of the mystery beans

Bought a Kg of Mystery 13 before christmas and i really like it. I did ask the the owner why he can’t name the beans & he said he can’t as the supplier what be very angry. He did say it should sell for double the price really.
I agree on the consistency as the last batch of Med Mocha i had was nowhere near as good.

Good stuff Jules. Literally just thrown a bag of Sweet Bourbon in the hopper.

No idea what beans the MMK 13 are but apparently they taste of chocolate, cherry and malt. Quite tempted by this as I love the Cherry Cherry blend from Coffee Compass.

Have you tried the CUBAN SERRANO ALTURA?

        Dubman

Just finished my first bag of Med Mocha and was a bit of a let down after the Cherry Cherry

The Cuban looks nice…. but sold out … hopefully they’ll get some back in…. might try the 13 then although never been that keen on the fruity stuff

        Cool… will give the 13 a try next time I order 👍
