I forgot to mention that I use my Sage SGP every day and I am getting far better coffee with it than I can get in any cafe locally. I use it for espresso for lattes / cappuccinos

What’s the best bit of kit to run the ole Kenco through?
The drain
Old-Dutch cheers for that, useful information for sure. Sounds like the sage one is a good option. I don’t want to spiral down the route of spending a fortune on different equipment for making coffee, as I like to go to my local coffee shop for a decent coffee a couple of times a week. However my home coffees definitely need improving and sounds like a burr grinder is a big part to make that improvement.
The advice is you should look to spend as much on the grinder as you do on the machine - possibly more. I think this is probably up to a certain level. Most on there rave on about the Niche which is £500.
Reckon you’ll notice a massive improvement with the Sage over your blade grinder at home
Good man - enjoy
Mixed reviews but only one man has it so far to make an informed opinion and he’s very positive about it.
Apparently Bella Barista are using it in the shop and lots are liking it. Giving it some serious consideration mate. Had a win at Cheltenham today that’s pretty much paid for it (on Put the Kettle on lol).
Was hoping Ed’s inspiration would continue with Some Neck in the next, but it wasn’t to be sadly
Let me know what they say mate. Very close to pulling the trigger
Nice one mate. I like the idea of single dosing so I can switch beans easily - less mess and cleaning / retention etc.
Got my scales ready to go lol
I’ve finished Chelthnam about £400 up so that pays for it
Trigger pulled!

Yep Solo mate. Eureka Specialista meant to be excellent from what I’ve read
A lot of grinder action on here this week!!
The Sage turned up today, looking forward to trying it out this weekend
