Yeke Yeke
alistair no it doesn’t
nicksneddon …haha, textbook.
The trouble with Where Love Lives is that everyone remembers and plays the Def Mix which imo isn’t dancefloor friendly, the original Sauna Mix has a lot more drive
Insert American Psycho Huey Lewis pic

Yeah, it’s not cool though Nick.
1st time I heard it was actually on this clip of Nick Warren playing it to a daylight crowd at ’07 ’Glastonbury. (Funky-hair Petra warning.)
Took Sneddon a while to jump in on the Gat Decor mention. He’s slipping.

Prefer that version,. Released in ’88. ’Hardfloor mix is just too overplayed for me. Retire it for 10 years.
When it first came out, it was fucking immense. Get why people are annoyed by it, but it is what it is. It’s an old gripper tune.
Amazing no-one’s really answered the exam question.
Who’s been muntered and sung along, probably whilst air-punching

Mad_Cyril First time I went to Goa was over my 30th birthday. Went to a beach party on my birthday, and the DJ played an immense set of kinda acid psy-trance type stuff. Dropped Yeke Yeke as the sun started to come up around 6am, whilst I was absolutely spangled out of my tree. One of the fondest music memories I have…
Not sure I sang along though.
Seem to remember Sasha did an edit with the Hardfloor remix which teased the intro & breakdown with loads of explosions & efx. He played it at Renaissance Pacha many moons ago as the last tune….Pete Tong then played French Kiss
