Depends where you live, but for most of the western world EVs even with battery mining are better for the environment in their lifetime. Green energy is already cheaper than fossil fuels and continues to get cheaper, so even the countries lagging behind will catch up pretty quickly.
The other problem being that very few people are choosing to drive 1 litre Toyota Aygo style cars, in recent years the emissions from cars on the whole has gone up because so many dip shit thicket hammer smelling horror cunts are choosing to drive inefficient Trump wagon SUVs instead of normal cars.
My recent YouTube hole has been EV conversions… Something old, sharp lines, covered in chrome, and stanced to fuck, is probably where the Tesla shares will one day be going.
