Unbroken1 …new gadget I’m looking forward to making noises with:

Nice, have you got a special face to pull for when you’re crankin’ it hard?

Unbroken1 that’s a good deal. let me know how it sounds. i’m using the soundtoys space emulation and modnetic for dub delays, but i like the idea of a hardware delay too. plus it’s still cheaper than the strymon gear.

303abuser …yeah, haven’t hooked it up yet, sounds great on the demos I’ve seen, apparently a really good emulation of the RE-201

I’ve only heard Loco Dice use that in action. Looks fun, Damo!

Has anyone here bought a 1200 mk7? Weighing up servicing my mk2s ( which are fucked) vs pulling the trigger on mk7s. All the reviews I’ve seen point on the 7s being pony

jonattonyeah …good thanks mate yeah, very different. I’m finding mixing with the isolators quite a big shift from the HPF filters that I used all the time on the Rane. Sounds amazing too. Waiting on a new interface to arrive, I might have another go at a live mix vid once I get it sussed.

IndustryStandard …spend a couple of hundred getting ’em properly serviced/rebuilt mate, way better (& cheaper) than the new ones IMO.

          Unbroken1

Please do give a heads up here if you do a live vid mix. I don’t have Facebook or anything so I’m often out of the loop.

I’m looking for a compact-ish dj controller which allows me to browse/open tunes and select/play cue points without touching the laptop.

          Any suggestions lads?

S2 for a budget-version, XDJ R2 if you want to lose the laptop all together from the equation.

I bought an ddj 200 for €150 to the door while I’m saving bigger stuff 2 weeks ago and it’s a great little thing for listening to tracks straight from my phone we had it out the back Sunday afternoon and it was grand, showed it to one of my mates and it was like I showed him fire for the first time

Plus I want to move towards recordbox from tracktor
