mono-stereo …I hear you, but people haven’t learned to mix on vinyl from scratch for 20+ years now (I mean, some may have subsequently learned, but not out of necessity, out of some perception that vinyl is somehow more ‘real’).
I love great technical mixing, but like Grant says, it’s so much more about the choice of tracks and placement, even more so when there is so much new music out there to trough through.
