Homegrove I sometimes wish Pioneer would update the X700s, but I don’t know what else from the 3000s I would wish for them to have other than FLAC-playback. So I am still very happy to own ten years old Pioneer-players myself.
ScottBailey Homegrove If I could update my XDJ1000s (same as 700s), I’d definitely update the touch screen buttons so they were the same as the 3000s configuration. I’d also like the 4 & 8 beat loop buttons instead of either holding down the ‘in adjust’ button or having to go into the ‘perform’ screen. Also the jog wheel tension adjuster would be nice. All that being said, might as well just buy the 3000s instead 😆
Homegrove ScottBailey yeah, that shit is all stuff they’d never add to a cheaper player. I also don’t think we’ll ever see a cheaper single player than the CDJ3000 from Pioneer, they are clearly all in on controllers for the less expensive stuff now.
ArchimedesQ Mad_Cyril I moved from a controller, a DDJ1000. It was fine in all honesty for home use and streaming but I mainly use a 92 when I’m playing out and CDJs obviously so it seemed like a natural step after the huge lottery win. I bought a new house in the sticks so I could fit the XONE in, just need to employ a butler to carry it around and my life is complete 🙂
NasserAlazzawi Convert your FLACs to AIFF in Audacity or similar and you’ll have lots of fun on those! Doing the above serves for older CDJs too, CDJ2000nxs and earlier can’t play FLAC plus some of the older All In One XDJ-Rx series etc

Unbroken1 Mad_Cyril …without it they re just lists of file names. If you can add some artwork it makes them (even if only slightly) more identifiable
