There’s rumours of internal hard drive but no idea if true (it’s no use for club DJs anyway).

Apparently someone who claims to have had a demo said it was considerably faster at loading tracks than any equipment if you use USB-C and the whole thing was just snappy. I’ve found all players including Denon can have that bit of lag when hot cues are added.

The younger gen will appreciate wifi increasingly as those aged around 20-25 breaking through may enjoy a workflow on streaming or accessing their entire home collection using the Dropbox cloud feature (tracks land over the web pre-analysed but you have to pay for cloud option which you don’t seem to on Denon)

I like feeling far more in control by taking a few usbs to gigs. One of them having my entire collection on it. I don’t think that will ever change even though the recent tech is clever.

yeah USB-C quicker, but I find my Sandisk Expreme Pro’s to be adequately fast at loading up tracks anyway so this feature is a bit underwhelming to me.

Is it me or does the deck look wider too (to fit the new screen)? Could catch a few clubs out for space…

Width is apparently the same (good as it would play havoc with some venues) but it is deeper for the screen.

I can’t tell if the screen is more tilted upwards (which could reduce the depth more than we think from flat photos) but ultimately it is going to be slightly closer to your body in the really tight booths. They could be installed tilted slightly upwards which is no bad thing in my book.

Why on earth they stick with a reverse switch and slip mode . For Hip hop djs? Don’t they all use Serato and Rane gear anyway ?

Should only ever be spinbacks or nothing at all anyway.

If you binned off the reverse button and replaced it with the 4 and 8 bar loops, and gave it the 3000 screeen, the 1000mk2 would be pretty perfect.

I have a feeling a small version of the V10 may be coming out soon because there is a new FCC filing for a “New Mixer” coming soon but no details

A smaller more affordable v10 would be quite popular. It’s one of my favourite mixers

ScottBailey …I think it probably did OK. Was never a mixer that was released to ‘do numbers’.

Personally, was a little disappointed with the build when I eventually got to handle one.

I know what you mean. It’s not enough to bother me or most people but when you go looking for stuff (instead of… mixing) its there.

Euphonia is really nice to play on though, I’d recommend anyone give it a go. Breath of fresh air vs the standard layouts with some sprinkles of innovation you don’t get on any of the other rotarys.

ScottBailey …that’s the Soundcraft version, purists don’t like it as much as the original, but arguably more forgiving for CDJ’s/digital sources. I remember when HTFR had them on sale for £350!

NasserAlazzawi …not averse to the built-in FX/HPF etc. i think its cool that they tried to do something different with it instead of the stripped-down/clean signal path route of most rotaries.

Plazzy, wobbly EQ knobs that feel like they’ve come off a DJM500 I do have an issue with though, esp at £3K+

NasserAlazzawi you might want to change thread then as this is about dj equipment and you somehow feel the need to repeat the same thing as soon as someone mentions it.

I’ve no issue if you like Denon, I’m happy for you - I like it too, but I’m here to help people get the best out of whatever they’re using.

I’m not going to list all the things wrong with Denon, I want you and others to enjoy using it, but try to contribute something useful rather than looking like some jealous kid in a playground stuck on repeat

It’s one thing I dislike about Denon users they often seem to have some need to justify themselves in owning them. Just enjoy it
